Why we exist
Tired of agency theatre.
We built JXM Studio because we kept watching business owners pay agencies thousands of dollars for slow, generic work. Pitch decks instead of working demos. Account managers playing telephone between the client and the people actually doing the building. Six-month timelines for what should take a month.
The owners deserved better. They deserved to talk directly with the designer and the developer, not an intermediary who'd relay the brief and then relay the feedback and charge for both.

Where are you based?+
Auckland, New Zealand is our home base, with an Australian base in Melbourne. The wider team is distributed across NZ and AU.
Do you work with businesses outside NZ and AU?+
Yes — we've shipped projects in the US, Europe and beyond. Most of the engagement is async plus weekly video calls, so distance doesn't matter much.
How long does a typical project take?+
2–6 weeks depending on scope. A 5-page trade site is usually 2–3 weeks. An e-commerce build with custom integrations is 4–8 weeks. We give you a fixed timeline up front, not a rough estimate.
How much does it cost?+
Websites range from $1k for a simple landing page or one-pager, right up to $15k for a full custom build with multiple pages, integrations and SEO baked in. AI implementations range from $2k–$30k depending on scope. We quote everything as a fixed price up front — no surprise invoices, ever.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?+
Yes. We offer monthly maintenance and improvement retainers, and we're available for ad-hoc tweaks too. Most clients stay on a retainer because they keep adding features after launch.
